Ballet Camp

Ballet Camp is off to a great start. Today they learned how to arabesque (pronounced air-ah-besk) shown in the picture above. Yesterday they learned first and second positions, tendu (tahn-dew), escheppes (esh-ah-pays), glissades (glee-sahds), and piques (pee-kays). It's amazing how fast these little ones learn. They love to dance to faster music in "crazy time" and they LOVE to play the ballet rendition of "Ring Around the Roses." We're having a great time! More pictures to follow after class on Thursday and Friday!
