Bethany Plays Peek-A-Boo

Bethany loves to play on the changing table--so much so that I even treasure the times I get to change her diaper. She is my little sweet pea! She makes faces and blows sherbets with her lips. She grabs her feet and tries gleefully to stuff them in her mouth all the while giggling and making sure I'm watching. Her new game is peek-a-boo. At first she was a little scared of the whole idea. After a few times, she could do it herself and she gladly added another game to her list.

The Jeep Returns

Bethany loves going out to watch the big kids play!

This has to be one of the Oster kids' favorite toys ever! When we moved into our house on Princess Trail, we discovered that Naomi could drive this jeep anywhere, including up the road to a neighbor's house. After a few dozen times of taking that trip though, the tires were completely in shreds. We just purchased new tires and THE JEEP RETURNS! Naomi had to relearn her driving skills, but now she's as fast and risky as ever. She's the only five year old (and she could do this when she was three!) I know who can do a quick, tight three-point turn!

Naomi's New Year's Quote

http://www.chromasia.com/iblog/archives/0609222342.php
On New Year's Eve we had a family over for a little party and after dinner we shot off a few fireworks. The next day, Naomi was discussing the fireworks with Nate and I overheard, "I like the bottle rockets the best. They go straight up and say 'POW' and they don't even hurt the sky!"
Happy New Year!
