Belated Anniversary Overnight (Best Date Ever)

We started off our date with a walk through Laumeier Sculpture Park.

Then we headed over to the Missouri History Museum.
I remember the days of old;
I meditate on all Your works;
I muse on the work of Your hands.
Ps. 143:5
After checking into Union Station Hotel, we took the Metro down to our restaurant, Kemoll's--on the 40th floor of a sky scraper by the river. We sat at a table with this view (no joke) and enjoyed our heavenly steak and salmon. And then we topped it off for a to-die-for chocolate cake.

We walked back to our hotel.

And the next day we hit the Art Museum.

Amazing views both inside and out!

11th Anniversary

Happy 11th Anniversary, dearest Nate!
We were so blessed to have a free night at Barnsley Gardens, so we used it to celebrate 11 years together.
We had dinner, spent the night, took a long hike and shopped a little on our way home.
It was easy, relaxing and very fun.
Barnsley is a small village in the middle of no where (really) that is built around the ruins and gardens of the old Barnsley mansion.

Thanks to Mom and Aunt Kim who stayed with the kids while we were away!

Nate and Olivia Go On A Cruise

Our cruise ship, the Carnival Fascination, at port in Freeport, Bahamas.
The view from our deck off our room at the back of the ship.
Nate and his "blushing bride of ten years" as our pastor would put it, at the "cruise elegant" night of dinner. We really had a great time on our cruise: eating, hiking, reading, eating, watching shows, touring, and eating some more!
The view inside the boat
Posing in Freeport on the beach: I think my fondest moment of the cruise was that hike on the Freeport beach. The water was beautiful and we were hiking in an un-crowded place--this is really the epitome of vacation for me!

View of the outside of the ship--this is where we spent a good bit of our time on Sunday--see my book and glasses? We were barely able to shed our "lazy" for a walk around the boat to take pictures!
One morning we woke in time to take sunrise pictures.
