Camping at St. Joseph's State Park, 2016

Ah! The beach!

One of the main attraction at this beach was all the living shell creatures

and of course the SAND

The beach is definitely one of our family's happy places. For me, the beauty and relaxation are nearly unparalleled. This beach was especially pretty because of being a state park and being on the Gulf.

We did a little hiking around the bay areas in the park.

One of those white specks in the distance is our campsite.

We took advantage of the power available at our campsite--fans at night and cooking on the griddle.

The sunsets were gorgeous!

Shaving cream is very fun at the beach!

Good-bye, beach!

We stopped over in Birmingham and spent the night at my cousin Clayton's house. I'm sorry we didn't snap a pic of Clayton, Rachel and Layla (their dog)! We were thankful for their hospitality.
On the way home, we stopped by the statue of Vulcan near Clayton's house.

Virginia Beach #4

Saying Good bye to the VA Beach house

Historical Tour through Richmond and Appomattox Courthouse

Jordan and Sarah's Wedding!

Wish I had taken more pics at the wedding... it was beautiful despite the loud rain that chased us into the barn and beat on the tin roof during the ceremony. Caleb danced his heart out and would have stayed until he passed out, but we pulled him off the dance floor to return to the hotel for a little sleep before our drive home the next day.

Happy Father's Day!!
