Family Date

A week ago, Naomi reached her school's goal of 20 books read, so she received a "Free Ice Cream from Clumpies" coupon. Today we redeemed that coupon on our family date. She chose a waffle cone with chocolate ice cream and sprinkles. Jacob and Nate had ice cream too. Bethany had cereal. : )








Nate and I have fond memories of walking the walking bridge during college. One of Nate's tricks during those walks was jumping the poles. So, of course, he's passing down the skill!

Disney on Ice

The kids really enjoyed Disney on Ice last night! They saw Lion King, Little Mermaid, Mickey and Minnie, and Peter Pan.

Naomi's little ballet class--I teach it at the Brock's house. This huge room has a mirror wall. In this picture, the kids are standing in first position and holding their arms in second. They are learning how to plie, arabesque, tendu, glissade, pique, and eleve. Naomi really enjoys it and I think the other kids do too!

Bethany's Baptism and Party

Bethany's Baptism October 19th, 2008

Bethany wore the same dress that Naomi wore for her Baptism--it's made from my wedding veil. Joe spoke of Bethany's need for Someone greater than her daddy or momma to save her. As always, he walked down the center aisle while the church sang "Jesus Loves Me." She was a little doll for the whole thing.



When we got home, Jacob picked up these flowers and said, "Mom, where do you want these?" He knew we were all getting ready for the party and wanted to help. He looked so grown up and just like a delivery man, I had to take his picture!

Bethany's friend Titus was baptized during the 11 o'clock service today. He (and his family) joined us for Bethany's party.
