Washington DC

Nate's former roommate, Tom, got married near Washington D.C. last Sunday. We were delighted to be able to make the wedding!

We stayed with the lovely Corrie McClure, who not only housed our 7 but Lisa's 5 as well! Along with Corrie's parents, we had 8 adults and 11 kids in one house. It was crazy, but it worked just fine!

On Monday, the Wrights and the Osters went into D.C. to visit the National Archives, the Natural History Museum, and the Air and Space Museum.

On Tuesday, we visited Mount Vernon. Corrie and two of her girls joined us. The weather was gorgeous!

On Wednesday the Wrights and Osters went back into D.C. and tackled the History Museum and some of the monuments. We saw a Revolutionary War gunboat, the original Star Spangled Banner, the Washington Monument, the WWII Memorial, and the Lincoln Memorial.

And thanks to Lala and Papa John for keeping kids!!
And thanks to the Wrights for hanging out with us for the week.

Tellus and Huntsville Space and Rocket

Monday, March 30 Naomi and Jacob didn't have Hilger, so we put our ASTC membership to use and visited Tellus Science Museum.

On Friday, April 3, Daddy didn't have to work, so he joined us on a day trip to the Huntsville Space and Rocket Center!
